Active and Inactive Cues

Do you need to omit, put on hold or hide a cue/scene without deleting it or including it in your stats? We've got you covered with three options:

  1. Omit: Select 'Omit' in the status box. The cue remains visible but is excluded from the stats totals.
  2. On Hold: Works similarly to 'Omit'. The cue stays visible and is marked for potential reactivation but is not included in the stats.
  3. Inactive: Use the 'Active/Inactive' switch (the eye icon) at the end of each cue row. This grays out the cue and also excludes it from the stats. Additionally, you have a main 'Show/Hide' toggle in the toolbar (or press H on your keyboard) to show or hide all inactive cues collectively.

Use 'Inactive' when you need to hide a cue you're not ready to delete. It's common to combine 'Omit/On Hold' with 'Inactive'.

Inactive Cues Visible
Inactive Cues Hidden
When you export cue sheets for PROs, these statuses automatically exclude the cues from the sheet. To include 'Inactive' cues, simply uncheck 'Exclude Inactive Cues' in the 'Export Cue Sheet' window. However, remember that cue log and wall chart exports always include these cues if they're visible in the 'Cue Overview'.
