Archived and Hidden Projects

In CueDB, you can hide completed projects and recording sessions in two ways:

Archiving

When a project is archived, it becomes hidden from all members of the project. This option is best used when a project or recording session is fully completed. Please note that only the project owner and administrators are granted permissions to archive projects.

Hiding

This option hides the project only from your view. This is useful if you wish to declutter your workspace but don't have the authority to archive the project or if you want to keep the project out of sight without leaving it entirely.

The "Show / Hide" toggle is a common feature throughout various interfaces in CueDB. This convenient switch allows you to quickly change the visibility of different elements across the platform. Whether it's on the dashboard, projects page or recording session views, look for this toggle to customize your display settings as needed.

Access Archived and Hidden Projects

To access an archived project most efficiently, we recommend using the Spotlight feature. Simply open up the Spotlight search window and start typing the name of the project you're looking for. This function allows you to swiftly navigate through your projects from wherever you are in the app.

To view all projects, regardless of whether they're archived or hidden, use the 'Show / Hide' toggle as detailed above. This will ensure that no project is excluded from your view.

A swift way to archive a project without using the 'Show / Hide' toggle is to select 'Archive Project' from the dropdown menu. This option is available for various items including projects, episodes, recording projects, and recording sessions. If you wish to hide projects from your view, this can only be done via the respective checkboxes.
