Project Presets
Presets in CueDB are designed to streamline different workflows by providing specific sets of columns. Different roles, such as composers, music editors, or orchestrators, may require different data views. A new CueDB project comes preloaded with eight configurable presets.
- Standard: This default view cannot be renamed or deleted. If uniformity is essential in your team, instruct your collaborators to use this preset.
- Spotting: This preset is ideal for project spotting, with columns like 'Spotting Notes', 'Usage', 'Scene Description', and 'Cue Type'.
- Conform: Tailored for conforming music, this preset includes columns like 'Start Offset', 'Change Duration', and both current and version timecode columns.
- Orchestration: This preset, including 'Orchestration Notes', 'Orchestrators', 'Orchestration Version', and 'Orchestration Status', caters to orchestration tasks.
- Recording: With 'Recording Notes' and 'Recording Status', this preset is set up for recording processes.
- Mixing: This preset caters to the mixing process with 'Mix Notes', 'Mix Version', and 'Mix Status'.
- Viewer: The Viewer preset is a dedicated view designed for members whose access and actions you want to control. A member with the Viewer privilege can only access the Viewer preset and the fields you enable for it. This streamlined view provides a clutter-free experience, offering precise control over what they can see and edit. Administrators and the Owner can simulate how this view appears to a Viewer by activating the preset in the Cue Overview. The Viewer preset cannot be renamed or deleted.
- Cue Sheet: The Cue Sheet preset is a specialized view tailored for editing cue sheets for PROs (Performing Rights Organizations). It features writer and publisher fields and incorporates Writer Shares of Score details in the stats section. Access to this preset is limited to members with the appropriate permissions set in the Project Members settings. The Cue Sheet preset cannot be renamed or deleted.
