What are the main differences in the video game project workflow?

The video game workflow replaces picture and picture versions with categories and subcategories, and uses duration instead of IN/OUT. It also introduces roles, statuses, presets for implementation, cue types, and filters for in-game, cinematics, and transitions, giving you more flexibility in how cues are organized and tracked.

A handy tool for this is Preset Filters (PRO+). These let you save different views with specific columns and filters, so you can quickly switch between workflows. For example, you can create views for a specific composer’s cues, certain categories or subcategories, or all in-game music. You can also set default preset filters so everyone on the project can access the same views.
